This vibrant Moroccan rug was woven during the first quarter of the 20th century (1900-1925) in the capital Rabat.
It features an ornate and colorful design inspired more by the Ottoman aesthetics than the indigenous Amazigh tradition. It is woven in bright reds, blues, yellows, greens, and oranges.
In great vintage condition, wear is consistent with age. Edges have been reinforced for longevity.
